Youth bowling celebrates end of season

Youth bowling of 2017-2018 season.

Bowlers and families joined each other at Keokuk County Bowl on Saturday, March 24, for the annual Youth Bowling Banquet.  The youth bowling leagues celebrated the end of the 2017-2018 season with a potluck supper.

Bowling center owners, Lucinda and David Brooks provided hamburgers and hotdogs while families brought in sides and desserts to share.

The banquet began with the awards, which were separated by the two different league nights, as well as youth bowlers and junior/senior bowlers.  Each team received a trophy for where they placed, and then there were individual awards given for High Scratch Game, High Scratch Series, High Handicap Game, High Handicap Series, and also High Average, for each league.
