Keota Drama Department presents “Once Upon a Mattress”

Bring your imagination along as the Keota Drama Department takes you back to the days of yore where knights fought, kings and queens ruled and only a true princess could marry a true prince!

KHS will present the Broadway Musical "ONCE UPON A MATTRESS" on Thursday and Friday (March 28th and 29th at 6:30 in the wonderfully comfortable Keota auditorium. Tickets can be reserved by calling the HS office 641 636 3491.

The story goes that a king and queen were in search of a suitable princess for their son.  The princess must be SO sensitive that she could feel even a pea beneath 20 mattresses when she tried to sleep.  They found such a dainty young thing. The  prince and princess were happily wed and everyone lived happily ever after.

HA! That's not what really happened and the KHS Thespians will tell you the real story!  Yes there was a Queen and King(Lauren Imhoff and Grant Garman) and a  Prince and Princess (June Daing and Anna Duwa)  but the fairy tale ending was NOT so simple.
