Eagles Nest hosts tailgate

Team spirits were high in Keota for the SK Cobra game on Friday night. Although Keota celebrates their own homecoming during basketball season, due to the sharing of the football program, the students were just as excited to share in the events before the game on Friday including the Homecoming parade.

Members of the Washington County Pork Producers came to the school on Friday and grilled pork burgers to be served at lunch as the students enjoyed their tailgate meal. With October being National Pork Month, the students were excited to join in to kick-off Homecoming with the Pork Producers.

Principal Jim Henrich said, “It is always nice to see the kids showing school spirit. We purchase the burgers from the Pork Producers and have this tailgate meal as a way for students to enjoy this meal and get them ready for the game.”
