Class 1A All-District team

Several boys from the Sigourney- Keota football team found themselves nominated to either the First or Second-Team All-District for their efforts on the field this past season, with a few others named as honorable mentions.

Mac Conrad: Nominated as First-Team for one of the best five offensive linemen in the District, Conrad helped open holes for the run-dominant Cobras. He was also a defensive captain on the team in his final year of high school football. He also had 26.5 tackles on defense, 23 solo tackles and five solo tackles for a loss of yards.

JD Stout: Voted as the best utility player in the District, Stout was dynamic with his arm and his legs as signal caller for the Cobras. He finished the season with 13 completions for 256 yards and a score while rushing for 1150 yards on 80 attempts, over six yards per carry, for 21 touchdowns. He also had 12 tackles on defense, 11 solo tackles and one solo tackle for a loss of yards.
