Christmas Love at Keota Health Care

Christmas love filled the community room at the Keota Health Care Center on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 when the Kindergarten and Sixth Grade classes visited the residents to sing carols and spread some Holiday cheer. With the guidance of teachers Colleen Hart and Rod Hill, the students sang several classics, among them “Frosty the Snowman,” “Joy to the World,” and “Jingle Bells.”

When the songs had lyrics too complex for the Kindergartners, they had some handy hand bells to fall back on, which added an extra festive touch and made both them and the residents smile and giggle too. It was definitely a room-wide sing-along and when the audience forgot the words, they filled in with claps.
