Boys and girls golf in action at Lynnville-Sully Thursday

SULLY- Both Keota boys and girls golf teams went to play against Lynnville-Sully on Thursday, April 27. The ladies only sent two golfers, both golfed very well as Jolee Walker shot a very good 56 and Lauren Imhoff shot a 68. The girls did not have enough competitors to score four scores so they had to forfeit the match, but they still golfed very well individually on a difficult course.

The boys saw a complete domination of the course as it played into many of these young men’s strengths. The boys won with a season-low 172 on the evening. Riley Conrad led the way for Keota with a magnificent 3-over 39 on the day, winning the medal for best round. Jack Eakins shot a cool 41 to finish runner-up and Cole Stout punched in a very good 44. Avery Conrad rounded out the scoring for the Eagles with a 48.  Preston McDonald shot a 50 and Kolton Strand a 51 as they shot well on the day just missing the top four.
